It is a funny name for a serious day. Silent Sunday aka Sunday Reset is something that is quite not so well known but is something everyone needs. It really is a day where lives change and people grow.

We humans love to be disturbed and entertained on a regular basis where we have continuous notifications on our phones, emails and so on. We constantly let our attention slip into our phones and social media. And only a small percentage of us realize it. It is ruining your life, or at least slowing you down from your potential.

So as a cure for that problem, we at NeoKalon came up with this post. In this blog we will go over how you can get your attention back, start changing your life, how to stop wasting your own time and how to stay focused.

A lot of “how to”-s in deed, but it seems people need it.

Stick with us and later throw you phone away because you will have your control back on your life.

What Is Sunday Reset

I mean it is just a regular day basically for people who were born in 1500 or something like that, but it is not so regular for us humans of 2025.

Every day we scroll through social media and get bombarded with notifications and ads ( sorry for our ads if they are active on our website), but we never question why we do it. It is slowing us down so why?

Well it is simple we want that easy fake dopamine that you get when being entertained. It is much simpler to just dive into your phone and forget all problem ever existed and just ignore everything and live a fake, happy-looking life on Instagram.

But for people who don’t want that, then this blog is just meant just for you, yeah you.

Alright enough of this and let’s just get straight to business.

So Sunday Reset is a day where you lock yourself in a room, put your phone and all your devices away to a separate room and stay in your room for the whole day with nothing more then your thoughts, paper and a pencil.

Well that is the extreme of course, you don’t have to start off so heavy. Instead if you want this to be a habit then you can start with just a walk without any devices for as long as you want. What matters is that you did it and you will stick with it.

What to do on Sunday Reset

On Sunday Reset it is most important to stay honest to yourself, I mean you can’t run away from yourself. So what is the point of lying to yourself. If you are in a rut or at the rock bottom then accept it.

Of course I don’t know what your situation is, maybe you are on a good track already and working for your dream or maybe you are phone addicted who stays on phone 10 hours a day and does nothing with thyself.

It doesn’t really matter if you are a pro or a noob because Sunday Reset is something everyone needs if they don’t give themselves time to think.

So Be generous to yourself and give your mind that day where you stay away from noise and accept who you are and face the person that is you.

Here is a list that you can do on Sunday Reset:

  • Stay away from devices and possible distraction
  • Be alone in a silent room
  • Write down all your thoughts
  • Question everything, write them out and answer them on paper
  • Meditate
  • Be honest, no matter how rough the truth gets

That really is to it.

It really is hard to sit alone in a quiet room for a whole day, but damn, you get so many answers from yourself, it is just crazy. I was amazed on how many things I got straighten out and how much clearer I was with myself.

What to Keep in Mind on Sunday Reset

I understand that I said to keep away from devices and it really is true, stay away from them. But the problem is not just devices it is about distractions and things that entertains us. And under that category falls:

  • Books
  • Movies
  • Talking for too long with someone
  • Playing

It is really important to stay in a constant stream of your own thoughts and attention to them. Don’t let that slip away, it is very easy.

Be strong, be self-aware and be honest.

Quick note about Sunday Reset

Hey, I am not forcing you to sit in a quiet room for a whole day and not to talk to other. We are social animals and we love to talk to others and get their approval. I understand that this practice will be weird and stupid for many and I am definitely not saying that you need to do this like that or you fail.

Simply I want to give you a general idea of what this kind of day can bring you as a person who has already tried and still doing it.

It is a free and simple try, you can really try it out your own way. Maybe go for a long bike ride or for a relaxing walk, whatever you do it is good for you. Just keep in mind, in order to get away from distractions and all of that stuff, don’t take it along with you.

Sunday Reset has really helped me out on getting answers to many things that I had doubt or I was questioning about myself. It helped me start new things and helped me pay attention to details on what is was doing and what was important.

Thank you for always and I wish you the very best. Now Throw away you phone or close the PC – NeoKalon
